The Procurement Ministerial Advisory Council (PMAC) provides a platform to engage with industry thought leaders on the strategic positioning of the Queensland Government’s procurement direction, and to optimise its approach, including procurement opportunities for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The first Procurement Ministerial Advisory Council meeting for 2025, was held on 12 February.

Chaired by the Minister, the meeting included key discussions on:

  • the upcoming Queensland Procurement Strategy and Policy review
  • key procurement priorities for Government and industry including
    • data and measurement
    • supply chain management
    • support for small businesses
    • innovation.
